It's been almost a year now since I was having psychotherapy sessions for depression with an exceptionally wonderful and truly compassionate therapist at Agape Treatment Center. He is very interested in the needs of his patient and above all one can feel his complete friendliness as he deliberately listens to your problems etc. Now I am fully recovered and feeling better thanks so much for this kind of treatment.
I have been meeting with Shannon for almost two years and I cannot express how much she has helped me. I was struggling with patterns of disordered eating and mental distress and Shannon guided me through actionable steps to take to bring me back to a state of health and wellness. She often seems to read my mind when I am unable to articulate my thoughts and feelings and it is so comforting to have a trusted outlet who intends to understand rather than judge or sympathize. In many ways, words can't even begin to describe the experience I had at Agape Treatment Center. I was broken in every way imaginable and after spending almost 4 months at Apage, I left a new person. I was taught new things about addiction and recovery, and about myself and who I am. At Apage, they treat you like a person, not just another patient. They delve deep into who you are and what brought you to the place you were at before you got there. This place is truly like no other. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a better way of life. Oh and the staff is absolutely incredible.
